Remembering Seshat: A Past Life as an Egyptian Priestess

For most of my life, I felt a strange pull towards ancient Egypt. The hieroglyphs, the towering pyramids, the stories of pharaohs and gods – it all resonated with me on a deeper level than anything else. More than twenty years ago, that connection took a profound turn.

It wasn't a sudden flash of memories, but a slow dawning realisation. Through meditation and introspection, I began to piece together fragments of a past life. Images flickered – the golden sands of a desert temple, the weight of a linen robe, the reverence for scrolls filled with arcane knowledge. I was a priestess, dedicated to Seshat, the goddess of wisdom and knowledge, and even Thot, the god of writing and magic.

The memories weren't linear stories, but flashes of experience. The meticulous inscription of spells on papyrus, the intricate movements of rituals under the desert sun, the quiet hum of magic coursing through my fingertips as I invoked the blessings of Seshat and Thot.

At first, I was overwhelmed. Was it just a vivid imagination? But the feeling of recognition was undeniable. Over time, with careful research and exploration, I began to integrate these past-life experiences into my present reality.

The knowledge of ancient Egyptian magic techniques wasn't a complete picture, more like fragmented brushstrokes on a canvas. But it sparked a fire within me. I delved deeper into Egyptology, ancient texts, and modern interpretations of their practices. Slowly, I began to rebuild a bridge to that past life, reinterpreting those fragmented memories for my current existence.

For the past two decades, these practices have become a cornerstone of my daily life. It's not about wielding fantastical powers, but about aligning myself with a sense of order, purpose, and connection to something larger than myself.

This journey hasn't been without its challenges. Skepticism and misunderstanding are natural reactions to such experiences. But for me, it's a deeply personal truth, a way of honouring a part of myself that has always felt ancient.

Perhaps you, too, have a past life whispering secrets to your soul. Whether you believe in reincarnation or not, exploring these past-life echoes can be a powerful tool for self-discovery and personal growth.

This is just the beginning of my story. As I continue to learn and practice, I hope to share my experiences and insights with others who feel a similar pull towards the mysteries of ancient Egypt.
